Tyrese Miller, a senior at Ankeny High in Iowa, won the boys 400 meters in a meet-record 47.91 seconds at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Miller became the first male athlete in meet history at any level to win the 100 and 400 in the same year.
